  We fell in love with this place when we first walked in the door, and the food and service followed suit.
  
  Both of us ordered the Irish Supreme off the lunch menu, his with tater tots and mine with cheese balls. Yes, cheese balls. In shape and size they resemble tater tots, but they are battered and deep fried cheddar cheese curds--SO delicious! As for our meals, they were well-done hamburger patties cut in half to fit on a hoagie roll with all the other goodies. If you prefer your burgers cooked less than well done, I imagine they will happily accommodate you. After all, when we called from about an hour away to ensure they were open for business (the place we'd just tried looked like it was closed for the season or something), she said she would keep the grill open for us, and was very welcoming and accommodating upon our arrival.
  
  The highlight of our visit was the community atmosphere. This is not your typical restaurant setup. This is the local community center and senior center in addition to being a restaurant open to the public. We were greeted and welcomed by several people, and a number of them directly engaged us in conversation, asking where we were from/headed/etc. They kept to their own conversations and we kept to ours, but every once in awhile one of them would address us. We felt welcome and included, but never once felt like we were intruding or like the local residents were being interfering or nosy (which can often happen in such a tiny town).
  
  It's not far off the beaten path, and well worth the 5-minute break from the interstate scenery! If I lived in Sioux Falls, this would become at the very least a semi-regular go-to spot for meals out with the family. If you're looking for a fine dining experience, you won't find it here. What you will find is Grandma's delicious cooking, cute Irish-themed decor, and some very friendly people.
